Nathaniel Butterfield was born on 25 December 1711 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Nathaniel Butterfield and Sarah Fletcher.1 Marriage intention for Nathaniel Butterfield and Abigail Hunt of Billerica was published in October 1733 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2 He was a soldier in the French War and died on the Crown Point expedition in 1758.3
