     Sarah Fletcher was born on 26 May 1679 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Lieutenant William Fletcher and Sarah Richardson.1 She married Nathaniel Butterfield, son of Nathaniel Butterfield and Deborah Underwood, on 18 January 1697/98 in Chelmsford.1 She died on 19 June 1734 in Chelmsford at age 55.2 She was buried in Forefather's Burying Ground, Chelmsford Center.3
