Hannah Hayward was born "20th. (2) mo. 1647" (20 April 1647) in Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.3 She was the daughter of George Hayward and Mary (—?—) (Hayward).1,2 She married Jacob Farrer, son of Jacob Farrer and Grace Deane, on 11 November 1668 in Lancaster, Middlesex County (now Worcester), Massachusetts.1,4 She married Adam Holloway of Marlborough on 5 March 1681 in Concord.1,5 She and Jonathan Furbush, both of Marlborough, were married by Justice Minott on 2 January 1704/5 at Concord.6,7
Hannah Farrar was mentioned in the distribution of her father George Hayward's estate, 23 September 1671.8 On 3 October 1676, Hannah Farrar, widow of Jacob Farrer, was appointed administratrix of her late husband's estate and at that time returned an inventory dated 27th 7th mo 1675 and valued at £42 1s 11d.9 No later than the abandonment of Lancaster in February 1675/6, the widow with her children had moved to Concord where her relatives lived and where the children were brought up and settled.10
