     Rachel Morris was born in 1776.1 She was the daughter of Benjamin Morris and Mary Mason.1 She and Thomas Rowland, son of Stephen Rowland, were married in March 1801 by the Reverend James McLaughlin, minister of Hilltown Baptist Church, in a double wedding ceremony with Rachel's sister Mary and William Magil.1,2 She died on 13 September 1802.1 She was buried in Lower Hilltown Baptist Church Cemetery, Hilltown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She left no issue.1,2
