     Delia Pearce was born in 1787 in Screven County, Georgia.1 She was the daughter of William Pearce and Sarah Bray. She married John Dunwoody in 1807.1 She died in 1829.1
     
     Delia Pearce wrote a letter on 28 February 1825 from Bayou Beouf, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, to her sister, Mrs. Nancy B. Munson, Trinity River, Texas, that establishes the approximate time that the Munsons moved to the Trinity settlement in the Atascosito District, Coahuila and Texas, Republic of Mexico. It is the oldest document in the Munson Family Papers.2
