     Lola Murray was born on 22 May 1897 at Ridgely Plantation, Bailey's Prairie, Brazoria County, Texas.1,2 She was the daughter of Reverend Joseph Lapsley Murray and Emma Munson.1 She married Edmund G. Minor III, son of Edmund G. Minor Jr. and Mordella Caldwell, on 27 October 1926 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, in a double wedding ceremony with Lola's twin sister Lina and Andrew Joseph Taylor.1
