     Nancy Melisa Smith was born on 19 April 1874 in near Douglas, Cass County, Texas.2 She married William Newton Teal in 1892.2 She married Henry Horn, son of William Lemuel Horn and Minerva Ann Malone, on 8 May 1907 in Cordell, Washita County, Oklahoma.1 She died on 13 September 1940 in Carnegie, Caddo County, Oklahoma, at age 66.3 She was buried on 15 September 1940 in Alfalfa Cemetery, 8½ miles north of Carnegie, Caddo County, Oklahoma.3
