     Creath Morris McGee was born on 30 May 1911 in McMahan, Caldwell County, Texas.1,2 He married Virginia Morris Munson, daughter of George Poindexter Munson Sr. and Louise Underwood, on 2 August 1948 in Bethel Presbyterian Church, East Columbia, Brazoria County, Texas.1,3 He died on 9 May 2001 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 89.2
     
     Mac was a Certified Public Accountant and a partner in the Houston accounting firm of O'Connor, Lawson, and McGee. After retirement, he spent many hours at the Clayton Library in Houston researching his family history. When he died, a $50,000 donation was made to Clayton in his honor.4
