     Isaac Chase was born on 21 January 1681 in Martha's Vineyard, Dukes County, Massachusetts.2 He was the son of Lieutenant Isaac Chase and Mary Tilton.1 He married Mary Pease on 3 April 1702 in Massachusetts.1,2 He died at sea on 13 October 1716 at age 35.2
     
     Isaac Chase was a blacksmith and mariner.2 He lived in Chickemmoo, now part of Tisbury, Dukes County.2 His estate was administered by his brother Abraham Chase 25 February 1719/20.2
