     Ruth Farrar was born on 4 February 1755 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Farrar and Deborah Richardson.1 She married Joseph French on 5 October 1775 in Templeton.2 She died by 1817 in Marlborough, Cheshire County, New Hampshire.3
     
     On on 20 September 1810 at Chelmsford the administrator of Deborah Farrar's estate was instructed to "pay to Joseph French & Ruth his wife as her right she being a daughter..."4 Click to view image
