     Sarah Jane Simmons was born Saturday, 7 January 1843 in Missouri.4,2,5 She was the daughter of Reverend William Jared Simmons and Susannah Hahn.3 She married Daniel Green on 14 November 1858 in Wright County, Missouri.2,6 She died on 14 February 1865 at age 22.7
