Susannah Hahn was born on 13 October 1824 in Perry County, Missouri.3 She was the daughter of Abraham Hahn and Barbara Wise.2 She married Reverend William Jared Simmons, son of John Simmons and Naomi Jared, on 20 March 1842 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.4,5,6 She died on 20 April 1867 in Freestone County, Texas, at age 42.7
