     Maria Margaretha Hahn was born on 28 March 1741 in Freckenfeld, Pfalz, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Johannes Hahn and Elizabeth Margaretha Forster.1 She married Johannes Balthasar Schonberger on 11 January 1761 in York County, Pennsylvania.1

Maria Margaretha Hahn immigrated in 1751 to America with her parents Johannes Hahn and Elizabeth Hahn, and siblings Maria Catharina Hahn, Anna Maria Hahn, Johann Jacob Hahn and Benedict Hahn. They arrived at Philadelphia on the ship Janet out of Rotterdam.2
