Johann Jacob Hahn was born on 27 December 1747 in Freckenfeld, Pfalz, Germany.1 He was the son of Johannes Hahn and Elizabeth Margaretha Forster.1 He married Rosina Nigh in 1770 in Lincoln County, North Carolina.1 He died on 1 November 1801 in Lincoln County, North Carolina, at age 53.1
