Mary Ray was born on 17 September 1790.1 She was the daughter of Cornelius Ray and Elizabeth Elmendorf.1 She married Governor John Alsop King, son of Rufus King and Mary Alsop, on 3 January 1810.1 She died on 7 August 1873 at age 82.1
