     John Farrow was baptized on 6 June 1639 in Hingham, Massachusetts.2,3 He was the son of John Farrow and Frances (—?—) (Farrow).1 He married first Mary Hillard, daughter of William Hillard, on 14 August 1664 at Hingham, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.4,5 He married second Frances (—?—) on 16 November 1691 at Hingham, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.6,3 He died on 27 January 1715/16 at age 76.3

John Farrow was named in his father John Farrow Senior's will dated 28 March 1687 in Hingham: to "my son John Farrow," £5.7

John Farrow lived in the Second Precinct which was set off from Hingham in 1770 and incorporated as Cohasset.3

John Farrow was a carpenter.3

In his will of 10 February 1707/8, John Farrow included a bequest to "my loving wife Frances Farrow.8" It also mentions all his children except Hannah and William who predeceased him, and gives legacies to his granddaughters Mary Joselyn, daughter of Hannah, and Patience Farrow, daughter of William.9 His will was proved on 9 April 1716.3
