     Benjamin Stowell was born on 8 June 1676 in Hingham, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.3 He was the son of Samuel Stowell and Mary Farrow.2,1 He married Ruth Ward, daughter of Henry Ward and Ruth Bailey, on 21 February 1722/23.4 He died on 5 August 1730 in Hingham, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at age 54.5,4
     
     Benjamin Stowell and Ruth Ward lived on Fort Hill St.5,6 He was a farmer.6 Administration was granted on the estate of Benjamin Stowell, late of Hingham, deceased, husbandman, to his widow Ruth at Boston, Mass., on 18 May 1731.7
