Benjamin Stowell was born on 12 January 1726/27 in Hingham, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Benjamin Stowell and Ruth Ward.1 He married Susanna Hersey, daughter of Daniel Hersey and Mary May.2 He died on 18 February 1786 in Hingham at age 59.2,3
