     Thomas Emery was born on 2 December 1706 in Berwick, York County, Maine.1 He was the son of James Emery and Margaret Hitchcock.1 He married Susanna Hill, daughter of Deacon Ebenezer Hill of Biddeford, on 22 March 1731.2
     
     Thomas Emery was mentioned in his father James Emery's will dated 28 December 1724: "Item I give unto my Son Thomas my homeSted pasture Land house, barns Orchard, & all ye profits priviledges & appurtenances forever with all ye Moveables within doars & without, he to pay all my Lawfull Debts & ye Legacies hereafter Mentioned out of my Estate, Namely to my Son Iames's Children Two Shilling apeace."1,3 Click to view image He and Susanna had three children.2
