     Thomas Dyer was born in 1720 in Berwick, York County, Maine.1 He was the son of William Dyer and Mary Chadbourne.1 Marriage intention of Thomas Dyer and Elizabeth Melcher was published 28 November 1741 at Biddeford, York County, Maine. He was of Biddeford, she of Arundel.1,2 He died before 18 July 1770 in Maine.3
     
     Thomas and Elizabeth Dyer had fourteen children.1
