     Mary L. Fairfield was born in July 1848.1 She was the daughter of James Monroe Fairfield and Jane Elizabeth Thurber.1 She died in December 1850 at age 2.1 She was buried in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.1
