Jamesetta Barthold
Family tradition is that Jamesetta's unusual number of given names resulted from a family argument over who she would be named for. In a biography of her stepfather, John Scheurer, in the History of San Joaquin County California, she is called "Bertha Jamesetta." She was possibly a posthumous child, her father having been eloctrocuted in a work-related accident in 1892.
Her marriage is based solely on Charles Nicarnigen's appearance as "son-in-law" in the the household of her stepfather, John Scheurer, in the 1920 census. There were no young children listed, suggesting that Jamesetta died without issue, or with no surviving issue.
Additional Data
Jamesetta Scheurer appeared on the 15 April 1910 Federal Census of Stockton, San Joaquin County, California, in the household of her mother John Scheurer, and stepfather John Scheurer.1
