     Zachariah Stone was born on 23 May 1685 in Beverly.1 He was the son of Samuel Stone and Elizabeth Herrick.1 He married Jane Curtis, daughter of Samuel Curtis and Elizabeth (—?—), of Beverly.1 He died on 20 June 1734 at age 49.1
     
     Zachariah Stone was innkeeper in Beverly.1

Zachary Stone and his mother were were co-administrators of his father Samuel Stone's estate, and shared in the distribution with her and his siblings, Samuel, Robert, Abigail Stevens and Elizabeth Ober. The estate was twice divided, on 11 April 1720, and on 30 December 1730.2

Administration on Zachariah Stone's estate was granted to Jane Stone, widow, 19 August 1734, Henry Herrick and Samuel Stone being her sureties. The inventory of £883, included two negro servants. The estate was divided between the widow, eldest son William, sons Samuel, Robert and Andrew, and daughters Elizabeth, Jane and Abigail.3 There were two other children who predeceased their parents, Zachariah who died in 1730 at age 22, and Jean who died in 1718 at age 2 years.1
