     Edmund Gale of Marblehead, married Sarah Dixey, daughter of Captain William Dixey and Ann or Hannah (—?—) (Dixey). He died before 10 March 1717/18 when his widow Sarah sold land to her son Azor.1
     
     Edmund Gale was a fisherman and seaman. He was made freeman in 1660.1

Additional Data
Edmund Gale was mentioned in his father-in-law Captain William Dixey's will dated 21 February 1684/85. He was left Capt. Dixey's musket. He was also named co-executor with his brother-in-law, John Stone, but a codicile made Stone the sole executor.2
