     Abiel Gaines was the daughter of John Gaines and Mary Treadwell. She married Samuel Stone, son of Nathaniel Stone and Remember Corning, on 27 May 1690.1 She died on 4 December 1754 in Manchester, Massachusetts, at age 84.1
     
     Abiel and Samuel Stone had six children born between 1691/92 and 1712.2
