     Jacob Cordrey was born on 4 September 1840 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.1,2 He was the son of Moses Ayres Cordrey and Hannah Black.1 He married Ann Zimmerman on 19 January 1862 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.1 He died on 29 January 1931 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at age 90.3 He was buried in Highland Park Cemetery.
