Jacob Cordrey was born circa 1819 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.1 He was the son of Nathan Cordrey and Dorcas Jane Ayres.1 He married Matilda Barnhouse on 25 May 1837 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.2 He died before 9 May 1853.1
