Albert Gallatin Morris was born on 4 April 1814 in Newtown township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Enos Morris and Elizabeth (—?—) (Hough-Morris). He married Minerva Steele circa 1838.1 He died on 6 March 1843 in Wetumpka, Elmore County (then Coosa), Alabama, at age 28.1 He was buried in Wetumpka City Cemetery, Elmore County (then Coosa).1 
Albert Gallatin Morris lived in the Garden District of New Orleans. He was evidently visiting his brother Horatio Nelson Morris in Wetumpka when he died.1
