     Marvin Neal McBride was born on 24 April 1919 in Ellis County, Texas.1 He married Naomi Pearl Horn, daughter of William Lemuel Horn Jr. and Ruth Minerva Fairfield, circa 1937 in Texas. He was buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.2
     
     Marvin Neal McBride was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was killed in action3 in either Okinawa or Coregedor.4
