     Mercy Farrar was born on 17 June 1747 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Farrar and Deborah Richardson.1 She married Jacob Durant, son of Benjamin Durant and Mary Butler, on 23 February 1769 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2,3 She died before 20 September 1810 when at Chelmsford, the administration of her mother Deborah's estate mentions by name her five children and orders the administrator to "pay the children and grandchildren of Mercy Durant deceased who was a daughter..."4,3 Click to view image
