John Stowell was born say 1699.2 He was the son of David Stowell and Mary Stedman.1 He was baptized on 20 November 1709 in Second Church of Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 Marriage intention of John Stowell and Sarah Magoon, daughter of James Magoon and Sarah (—?—), widow of Hezekiah Ford, was published 1 November 1722.3 He married Sarah Magoon, daughter of James Magoon and Sarah (—?—),, and widow of Hezekiah Ford, in Weymouth, Massachusetts.3 He died before 1 December 1762 in Worcester, Massachusetts.3
