David Stowell was baptized on 8 April 1660 in Hingham, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1,4,5 He was the son of Samuel Stowell and Mary Farrow.2,3,1 He married first Mary Champney, daughter of Samuel Champney and Sarah Hubbard, on 4 December 1685 at Hingham, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1,6 He married second Mary Stedman, daughter of Nathaniel Stedman, on 7 April 1692 at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.7,8 Marriage intention of David Stowell and Mary Stedman is not recorded.8 He died on 9 September 1724 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 64.5

Robert Murdock, Hannah Murdock, his wife.14 He, son and surviving Executor of Samuel Stowell, confirmed the sale by his brother Israel of land in Hingham which formerly belonged to his father, and quit claimed for himself and heirs all right to said land, 8 March 1699.15
