     Mary Stedman was born after 1665.3 She was the daughter of Nathaniel Stedman.2 She married David Stowell, son of Samuel Stowell and Mary Farrow, on 7 April 1692 at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.4,5 Marriage intention of Mary Stedman and David Stowell is not recorded.5 She died on 27 September 1724 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.6,7

David Stowell with consent of wife Mary, sells to John Ellis, land in Cambridge, 7 Jan. 1694.8 David Stowell and Robert Murdock, both of Cambridge, husbandmen, sell on 29 June 1698 to Thomas Belknap of Cambridge, glover, for £17.0.0, land in Woburn, Mass., containing Mansion House, called "Forty pound Meadow" theirs by inheritance. At the Second Church of Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, on 20 November 1709, "Goodman Stowell" and his wife (Mary (Stedman) Stowell) owned the Covenant, and their five oldest children consented to the Covenant. David and Mary Stowell had seven children at that time, and all were baptized the same day.10
