Ruth Amelia Parker was born in August 1840 in England.3 She married Governor George Clement Perkins, son of Clement T. Perkins and Lucinda Fairfield, on 3 May 1864 in Marysville, Yuba County, California.4,1,3,2 She died on 4 February 1921 in Oakland, Alameda County, California, at age 80.4
