     Abial Perkins was born on 28 October 1774 in York County, Maine.3,4 She was the daughter of Thomas Perkins Jr. and Susannah Hovey.1,2 She married Capt. Hugh McCulloch, son of Adam McCulloch and Louisa Brown, on 10 April 1794 in Church of Christ, Arundel, York County, Maine. They ran away to marry because both set of parents thought they were too young.5,6,4 She died on 24 September 1856 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, at age 81.3 She was buried in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.
