Elizabeth Dixey was baptized on 17 October 1641 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts.1,4 She was the daughter of Captain William Dixey and Ann or Hannah (—?—) (Dixey).3 She married second Sergeant Samuel Morgan, son of Robert Morgan and Margaret Norman, on 15 December 1658 in Salem.1,5 She died on 24 February 1690 at age 48.1 Her son Luke administered her estate.6

Elizabeth Morgan was mentioned in her father Captain William Dixey's will dated 21 February 1684/85. She shared equally in the land with her four sisters, Mary Woodbury, Anna Judkin, Abigail Stone and Sarah Gale. The household goods were divided between her, Abigai and Sarah. Also, Elizabeth was left one mare.7
