     Mary Richardson was born on 14 April 1662 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Josiah Richardson and Remembrance Underwood.1 She married Thomas Colburn on 17 November 1681 in Chelmsford.2
     
     On 12 March 1695/96, the widow and children of Josiah Richardson, who died intestate 22 July 1695, entered an agreement for the division of the estate by which Sergeant William Fletcher, Thomas Colburne and Hennery Farwell, the husbands of the three daughters (Sara, Mary and Susanna) shared two-thirds of the movable estate.3
