Sarah Richardson was born on 25 March 1660 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Josiah Richardson and Remembrance Underwood.1 She married Lieutenant William Fletcher, son of Ensign William Fletcher, on 19 September 1677 in Chelmsford.4 She died on 30 January 1748 in Tyngsborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 87.5
On 12 March 1695/96, the widow and children of Josiah Richardson, who died intestate 22 July 1695, entered an agreement for the division of the estate by which Sergeant William Fletcher, Thomas Colburne and Hennery Farwell, the husbands of the three daughters (Sara, Mary and Susanna) shared two-thirds of the movable estate.6
