     Dependence Littlefield was born say 1671 (age 63 in 1734, 78 in 1749-50).2 He was the son of Francis Littlefield Sr. and Rebecca (—?—) (Littlefield).2,3 He married first or second widow Hannah Snell Ballard.2 He married second or possibly third Elizabeth Batson, daughter of John Batson and Elizabeth Sanders, on 5 December 1718 at Boston.1
     
     Dependence Littlefield of Wells was a Representative in 1725 and Selectman in 1726.2 He was granted administration on his father's estate in 1712/13.4
