     Elizabeth Batson was the daughter of John Batson and Elizabeth Sanders.2 She married first John Fairfield III, son of John Fairfield II and Sarah Geare, on 18 April 1693 at Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.3,2 She married second or third Dependence Littlefield, son of Francis Littlefield Sr. and Rebecca (—?—) (Littlefield), on 5 December 1718 at Boston.2

Elizabeth and John Fairfield III probably had children other than John. Sarah Fairfield of Wells, York County, Maine, who was in court 3 July 1722, may have been a daughter.4 Another possible child is Stephen who was listed with John (IV) as a resident of Wells in 1726.1
