Caleb Burbank Jr. was born on 1 May 1671 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts.2,4 He was the son of Caleb Burbank and Martha Smith.2,3 He married first Lydia Garfield of Watertown on 2 January 1693/94 at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts.5 He married second Hannah Acie, daughter of John Acie and Hannah Greene, on 31 August 1698 at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts.5 He died "very suddenly" on 1 February 1749/50 in Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 78.6,4
The land, houses, etc., property of his father, was conveyed to him on 23 November 1701 by his mother, now Martha Hardy, of Bradford, Massachusetts. He was the third generation to live on the "homestead" in Rowley. He removed to Boxford in about 1706.7
Caleb Burbank Jr.'s will dated 14 December 1744 in Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts, mentions wife Hannah, and children, David, Martha, John, Timothy, Asa, Hannah Hardy, Lydia Foster, Mary Wallingford, Ruth Hardy, Elizabeth Bailey and Margaret Hopkinson; overseers, sons-in-law William Hardy Jr. and Edmond Hardy.7
