     Nehemiah Stone was baptized on 29 May 1670 in Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of John Stone and Abigail Dixey.1 He married Lydia Hart, daughter of Jonathan Hart and Lydia Neale.
     
     Nehemiah Stone was a mariner and lived in Beverly.2

Nehemiah Stone shared in the division of his father John Stone's estate that was distributed 13 March 1703/4. Other heirs were Samuel Stone, Jonathan Stone, Abigail Briscoe, Anna Stone, Hannah Stone, Abigail Stone and William Stone.3

On on 28 July 1714, Nehemiah and Lydia Stone deeded to her brother Jonathan Hart all their interest in the estate of her grandfather Neale.4

Nehemiah Stone deeded to his brother-in-law Capt. Robert Briscoe the house and land where Briscoe was then living in 1720, probably the house mentioned in his father's inventory as being in Nehemiah's possession in 1703/4.5

Nehemiah Stone's estate was granted to his son Jonathan for administration on 1 January 1732/33, Samuel Stone and Benjamin Butland being his sureties.2
