     Abraham Black was born circa 1802, probably in Washington County, Pennsylvania.2,3 He was the son of Philip Black Jr. and Catharine Baughman.2 He married Comfort Cordrey, daughter of Nathan Cordrey and Dorcas Jane Ayres, on 20 May 1824 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.1
