Robert Whitacre was born 30 9m 1758 (30 September 1758) in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.2 He was the son of John Whitacre and Naomi Hulme.1 He married first Sarah Roach, daughter of Richard Roach and Hannah Sands, 28 5m 1783 (28 May 1783) at Fairfax Meeting House, Loudoun County, Virginia.3 He married second Hannah Janney, daughter of Jacob Janney and Hannah Ingledue, 28 9m 1786 (28 September 1786) at Goose Creek Meeting House, Loudoun County, Virginia.3 He married third Patience McKay, daughter of Andrew McKay and Jane (—?—), 11 11m 1789 (11 November 1789) at Crooked Run Meeting House, Frederick County, Virginia.4 He died 18 9m 1828 (18 September 1828) in Waynesville, Warren County, Ohio, at age 69.5

On 31 10m 1761 (31 October 1761), Robert Whitacre, with his parents John and Naomi Whitacre, and brothers George, Joseph, Benjamin, Joshua and Caleb, were received at Fairfax Monthly Meeting, Loudoun County, Virginia, on certificate from Kingwood Monthly Meeting, New Jersey, dated 13 8m 1761 (13 August 1761).6
In 7m 1777 Robert Whitacre was complained of for Breach of Promise by Alice Britain for which he was disowned 25 10m 1777, but was reinstated 23 6m 1781 upon his acknowledgement of misconduct. NOTE: This is in the form of a note by Hinshaw in the Fairfax Monthly Meeting records, but immediately following is another (separate) note to see Goose Creek Monthly Meeting. It is unclear by which meeting he was disowned and later reinstated, but it was probably the former since I can find nothing relating to this under Goose Creek.2
At Goose Creek Monthly Meeting before 28 September 1786, Robert Whitacre produced a certificate from Fairfax Monthly Meeting showing him clear (with respect to marriage).3
