     Catharine Cordrey was born on 12 June 1832 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.1,2 She was the daughter of Moses Ayres Cordrey and Hannah Black.1 She married Nathaniel Lafayette Heminger, son of Davis Heminger and Margaret "Pega" Cordrey, on 9 March 1854 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.3,1 She died on 11 July 1891 at age 59.4,1 She was buried in Bisel Church Cemetery, Fairfield township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.4
